Bag Check

All bags and personal items will be checked at the entrance. Make sure to review the official list of what’s allowed and what’s not before heading to the track. This includes things like coolers, food, drinks, and fan gear. If you’re unsure about something, it’s better to leave it at home. Items that don’t meet the guidelines will be confiscated and won’t be returned. In more serious cases, you could be denied entry or face penalties for future events.

Entry & Tickets

You must have a valid ticket to get in. The easiest option is to store the digital ticket on your phone, but bringing a printed backup is a smart idea just in case you run into tech issues. At some gates, staff may scan tickets selectively, so keep it handy even if you don’t need to show it right away.

The quickest and most reliable way to buy tickets is online. It only takes a few minutes. Some ticket types – like reserved grandstand seats or premium access – can sell out early, so don’t wait too long. Options typically include general admission, reserved seating, and open spots in the hillside or natural grandstands.

Parking at Dover Motor Speedway – NASCAR weekend

General parking is free on Friday and Saturday. On Sunday (Cup Series day), it costs $20 cash only, with all lots opening at 6:00 a.m.

Tailgate Parking is available outside Turn 4 near the Fan Zone for $100 (grass, 20' x 20', one vehicle). A new XL Tailgate option for 2025 costs $200 and offers a paved 20' x 30' spot near Bally’s entrance, fitting two vehicles and extra tailgate gear.

For pre-purchased weekend options, Premium Parking ($150) is located near the Fan Zone and Monster Monument with easy post-race exit. Reserved Parking ($75) is just outside Turn 4, and Express Parking ($75) is on Leipsic Road with its own entrance and exit route.

On Sunday, a free shuttle runs from the Christiana Mall Park-n-Ride (next to Nordstrom) starting at 8:00 a.m., dropping fans off in front of the Monster Monument. It operates first-come, first-served and is ADA accessible. For questions, contact Advance Student Transportation at 302-998-6726.
